It has great pickup entering freeway ramps, is well balanced, and very dependable. The storage space is greater than other comparable touring scooters. I love it! Have about 2500 miles on it. I have had no problems at all. Very comfortable even more so with my Corbin custom front saddle. I also have a Givi touring windsceen, Really cuts down wind whiplash and noise a great deal. Also have Givi V46 topbox. Bike has excel... lent storage capability. Good power to weight ratio. Good pickup and top end I seldom need. This bike has run 112 mph ( speed o meter may be off 6mph) It gets 60 mpg (but not at that speed) A little slow on take off but after 25 mph will surly suprise ... you. I had a Goldwing before I had open heart I'm 71 yr old. Run with the big boys to thunder on the beach (Fla.) every year Bike is Red and gets more attention than most hogs.Having and emergency brake,time, temp,trip meter, large storage.Great tourning bike 70to 85mph cruse @51/2 to 6 gran. I have almost 1800 miles on it and it runs fine. Nice power for hills and highway speeds, especially for the slightly heavier rider (265#s). Fuel mileage is pretty good. Filled up last night and average was 59.5 mpg (190.5 mls/3.2 gals), calculations put a f... ull tank at close to 220 miles. But got a little worried, didnt want to be "that scooter" on side of rode with no gas. Only complaint is the mirrors, they need to be set out a little more. Or Yamaha needs to offer replacement mirrors to do this. Have mirror extenders that I bought online to put on to take of that problem. But overall good "bike" and recommend to all.
